Freerunning is best described as an art that defines one’s individualism through movement. Anywhere we go in life there are obstacles. The freerunner overcomes these obstacles in their own individual expression of motion. Everyone uses whatever skill they see fit. When going from one place to another, the freerunner takes the path that defines them and they pay no attention to society.
For example, a freerunner’s perspective of an obstacle could be a wall that stands in their intended path. The freerunner learns to overcome this wall and get around it in their own unique way. The freerunner begins this way by overcoming obstacles in the physical world. But the true freerunner takes this to other parts in their life other than just the physical realm.
